Make Your Office Party Sparkle!

I remember working for a corporation and every year our annual holiday office party brought all of us just that much closer together.  Office holiday parties are a great time to launch new ideas and turn an office into a team! If you really want to dress up an office party hang snowflakes from a clear tent, it will give the illusion that it is snowing in a sense! Really putting a magical touch on the party.  If large centerpieces are out of your companies budget, spring for just a few to set around the room to give some dimension and scale back on the centerpieces on the tables. If you’re using your own office space to host the party, bring in gobos! They are inexpensive light covers that will project images onto walls, like in the picture seen here on the right courtesy of Bravo Productions. A common hit at holiday parties are raffles! Raffle off items that employees can use or would enjoy, I recommend raffling off items sporadically throughout the event so it keeps the energy level up! A photo booth is always fun too, employees will hang these photos up year round in memory of such a fun event and it will be a constant reminder of their bond with your company!

Coming soon.. What to wear for those upcoming holiday parties, and Kids party ideas!

About Sierra Smart

I've worked alongside one of the top ten event planners in LA, I've planned my own beautiful and successful events and now I work for a fabulous resort in the wedding and corporate events department. You could say I started my career as a teenager working in catering for social events. I quickly climbed the ladder and found myself intrigued with the event planning industry. I then decided to take a chance on Hollywood. I assisted and planned many successful events in tinsel town including non-profit, celebrity, and many special events. I went back to school as SDSU to further my education in this field. I now take pride in sharing the ideas and fascinating finds that I come across in this industry via blogging!
